10 Cozy Fall Recipes to Bake This Fall Era
Whether you're lighting your first pumpkin scented candle or you've had โAll Too Well (10 Minute Version)โ on repeat since August 1st, one thing is clear: we are fully in our fall era. And that means it is time to bake like it.
So pull out your brown butter, find your cinnamon, and letโs get into the bakes that make fall taste like fall.
1. Chai Latte Cake
It is like a dirty chai but in cake form. This soft spiced cake is layered with warm chai flavor, finished with a creamy vanilla frosting, and basically asks to be eaten with a sweater on. A reader favorite for good reason.
2. Apple Cream Cheese Danish
Flaky, golden, and filled with spiced apples and a tangy cream cheese layer that makes it taste like an elevated pop tart in the best way. These are deceptively simple and way better than anything in the Starbucks case.
3. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Loaf
Basic. Yes. Regretful. Never. This loaf is super moist, loaded with real pumpkin and melty dark chocolate chips, and does not skimp on fall spice. Bake two and thank me later.
4. Brown Butter Chai Caramel Marble Cookies
These cookies are giving cozy coffee shop meets moody autumn walk. They swirl warm chai spices and brown butter with a caramel ribbon and a spiced sugar crust. You will want a blanket and a second batch.
5. Peach Cobbler Cookies
Okay yes, peach is a late summer fruit, but these cookies carry beautifully into early fall. Think golden cookie base, brown sugar crumb topping, and jammy peach pockets. Only available in my digital cookbook Cookies from Classics.
6. Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
Classic, cozy, and a bit underrated in fall lineups. This version is soft, spiced, and slathered with tangy cream cheese frosting. Optional: throw some chopped pecans or golden raisins in the batter if that is your thing.
7. Caramel Apple Crisp Oat Milk Macchiato Pie
Yes, it is a mouthful and it delivers. Inspired by the Starbucks drink, this pie is built with tender apples, a creamy espresso spiced filling, and a crumbly brown sugar oat topping. It tastes like sipping a caramel macchiato in pie form.
8. Coming Soon: Chai Latte Tres Leches Cupcakes
Spiced milk-soaked cake topped with whipped cream and a dusting of chai sugar. These cupcakes take everything you love about a cozy chai latte and give it a tender, melt-in-your-mouth upgrade.
Perfectly over the top, just like fall should be.

9. Coming Soon: Apple Pie Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls
Think soft, pillowy cinnamon rolls swirled with gooey apple pie filling and finished with brown butter cream cheese glaze. This is a fall breakfast disguised as dessert, or maybe the other way around. Either way, itโs a must.

10. Bake Your Way Into Fall!
If you are the kind of person who associates fall more with your oven timer than a PSL, this season is for you. I will be adding even more new recipes over the next few weeks including small batch loaves, maple heavy bakes, and a few nostalgic childhood reimaginings.
Thanks for spending a little bit of your fall era with me in the kitchen. Whether you're baking your way through the season or just here for the cozy vibes, Iโm so glad youโre part of this community.
Until the next batch,
